In this, the second image in the pair, Eckersley and Lombers again capture the perfect snapshot of Christmas morning, using the airbrush and incorporating the white of the paper into the design effectively. Note how the stuffed rabbit is blue against the white background and white against the girl's blue dress. These posters were issued without text, which is in itself an incredibly modern concept. The Underground publicity department was content to merely have their logo connected with a charming, sentimental scene.
